Satellite Provision Lead job summary

The successful candidate will:

Hold QTS and a relevant degree.

Have proven experience in EYFS or primary teaching, ideally within a special or autism-specific setting.

Demonstrate strong leadership skills and the ability to support, inspire and nurture others.

Have advanced understanding of autism and experience implementing specialist approaches such as TEACCH, SCERTS, PECS, or Sensory Integration.

Be confident in safeguarding practice, ideally with DSL training or experience managing safeguarding cases.

Work effectively with pupils, families, and professionals to create inclusive, supportive learning environment

Have excellent inter-personal skills to ensure partnership working with our mainstream host school

Work with the extended leadership team to ensure equality of provision between the main school and satellite site.

Be flexible, empathetic, and creative, with the ability to manage multiple priorities across the site.

Show commitment to the school and a desire to improve and excel.
