SBAP Child and Family Support Worker
22 hours per week – term time only plus 2 weeks
Salary Grade 4 Point 11 Actual salary £13223.65
Although employed at Barnby Road Academy this post will be working for the Newark and Minster Family of schools
We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly skilled and flexible Child and Family Support Worker to work across the Newark and Minster Family Primary Schools.
Job Purpose:
- To deliver a range of individual and group sessions in Primary schools within the partnership that support the social and emotional needs of the children under the guidance of the Primary SBAP Co-Ordinator.
- To share good practice through coaching methods and training
- To be an advocate for children and their families
The Role:
- To work with parents, carers and children promoting their emotional health and well being through a relationship based approach
- To carry out planned programmes of work with individuals and groups of children and to support schools and families
- To develop a portfolio of resources, interventions and training
- To reduce the risk of suspension from school
- To manage your own diary and travel between schools
This position will include a comprehensive induction to empower the right candidate to fulfil the role.
