School Administrator job summary
The East Specialist Inclusive Learning Centre (SILC) is a 2-19 generic special school with 443 pupils on roll. All our pupils have special learning needs and some have physical/ medical difficulties. The East SILC is a complex organisation which operates on a variety of sites to provide a range of outreach services across the city, including partnerships with primary and secondary providers, the city-wide Physical Difficulties and Medical Service including a moving and handling service, as well as the Medical Needs Teaching Service for Leeds.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent School Administrator at the East SILC but as with all posts will be asked to worked at any site across the East SILC.
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to join us to assist with the day to day administration of the East SILC and also assist in other areas of administration including minuting meetings as required across the sites.
The successful candidate will possess excellent organisational skills, be an effective communicator and have the ability to use their initiative as well as being able to work as part of a team and independently, whilst working calmly under pressure to meet deadlines. They will also be a competent user of Microsoft Office and Outlook. Experience of Compass would be advantageous.

Appointments are made subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service check (DBS formally CRB) and medical clearance from Leeds City Council’s Occupational Health Service.
