School Administrator job summary

We are looking to appoint an experienced School Administrator who has the vision and skills to play an integral role in our Office team. The right individual needs to be dynamic and resilient, with ambition and drive and a passion for improving the lives of young people.

Pay Scale: Grade 3, point 5-6 (£23,500 - £23,893 FTE)

Hours: 37 hours per week.

Hours will be Monday – Thursday 8:00am – 4:30pm and Friday 8:00am – 4:00pm.

Weeks: 38 weeks per year.

To be a successful member of our team we are looking for an individual who will:

  • Contribute towards the running of a smooth and efficient school office.
  • Provide a friendly, positive and professional welcome to the school for all visitors and pupils.
  • Ensure all communication by phone, email or in person, is delivered to the standard required by the School.
  • Deal with requests from parents or staff in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Complete administration tasks in a productive way, ensuring a high level of accuracy.
  • Who has ideally worked in a school before and is aware of the flexible nature of the job.
  • Work flexibly to meet the changing demands and priorities.
  • Actively safeguard and promote the safety and welfare of all our pupils at all times.
  • Work collaboratively in a team or use your own initiative.
  • Be self-organised and able to prioritise and manage conflicting demands to meet deadlines.

  • Kings Hedges complies the Childcare Act 2006 and the Childcare (Disqualification) and childcare (Early Years Provision Free of Charge) (Extended Entitlement) (Amendment) Regulations 208. All shortlisted candidates whose role will involve the responsibility for the provision or management of such childcare (including teaching) shall be required to declare that they are not disqualified from undertaking such work.
