Are you ready to take on an exciting role in a supportive and forward-thinking school community? We are looking for a School Administrator to join St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School in Hednesford, part of St Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Multi-Academy Trust, starting January 2026.

As a key member of our administrative team, you will play an integral role in supporting staff, pupils, and families, helping to ensure the smooth and effective running of the school.

About the Role:
As our School Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient daily running of the school. You will provide essential administrative support to staff, pupils, and families, helping to maintain a welcoming, organised, and professional environment. Your work will contribute to the warm, caring atmosphere that makes our school community so special.

Main Responsibilities:
Providing efficient administrative support to the Principal, staff, and wider school community
Managing the school’s reception area, offering a warm and professional welcome to pupils, parents, visitors, and contractors
Handling telephone and email enquiries, ensuring timely and accurate communication
Maintaining accurate pupil records, attendance data, and safeguarding documentation in line with school and trust policies
Supporting admissions processes, school census returns, and other statutory data requirements
Managing and organising school correspondence, newsletters, and daily administrative tasks
Assisting with preparation for school events, meetings, and activities, including room bookings and materials
Monitoring and ordering office supplies to ensure the school is well-equipped
Supporting financial administration tasks, such as processing invoices and maintaining records
Upholding confidentiality, safeguarding procedures, and the welcoming ethos of the school

We are looking for a School Administrator who is:
Organised, reliable, and able to manage a busy workload effectively
Professional, friendly, and welcoming, with excellent communication skills
Committed to supporting the smooth and efficient running of the school
Proactive and able to work independently, using initiative to solve problems
A strong team player, dedicated to supporting staff, pupils, and families
Confident with IT systems and comfortable learning new software when required
