Adelaide School is an outstanding SEMH special school with 93 students on roll. This provision serves students from year 5- 6th form. All students have an EHC plan for SEMH but many also have secondary special educational needs such as Autism or ADHD. The majority of our pupils are classed as pupil premium.

What does the role involve?

The School Business Administrator will be the school’s leading finance, HR and Compliance professional, providing the Head Teacher with regular financial summaries and updates.

If appointed, you will work with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to ensure that the school meets its educational aims and contribute to the strategic planning of the development of the business functions.

You will be the lead on all aspects of administration in terms of Finance HR, Payroll and Compliance, in line the Trust’s policies.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience of development management and operation of administrative systems.
  • Budget management experience in additional to management of financial systems.
  • Experience of procurement.
  • NVQ 3 Business and Administration, or equivalent qualification or experience in relevant discipline.
