Batley Multi Academy Trust’s sole purpose is to provide a great education for Primary and Secondary learners throughout a local family of schools. The Trust is passionately committed to the communities of Batley, Birstall, Dewsbury and our surrounding areas, serving our local learners and their families in order to secure excellent educational outcomes, partnered with high aspirations. Batley Multi Academy Trust currently comprises Batley Girls’ High School; Batley Grammar School; Field Lane Junior, Infant and Nursery School; Healey Junior, Infant and Nursery School; Manorfield Infant and Nursery School and Upper Batley High School. Hyrstmount Junior School and Purwell Infant and Nursery School will be joining the Trust family of schools early next year. We provide high quality education for all our young people regardless of their background or starting point. Collaboration across our Trust family of schools enables us to share expertise, knowledge and best practice to ensure academic and pastoral excellence, with all schools embracing the same overall ethos and values, whilst maintaining their own unique characters.

Hyrstmount Junior School is committed to creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment, providing opportunities for each and every learner to shine, celebrating achievement and encouraging individual talent. The school emphasises a strong sense of community, respect, and collaboration among young people, colleagues, and families. Academic excellence is a key focus, with a broad and balanced curriculum that caters to different learning styles and abilities. Extracurricular activities and pastoral care are also integral, supporting the well-being and holistic growth of each learner.

Purlwell Infant and Nursery School is a friendly, inclusive school that provides learners with high quality teaching and learning in the most important phase of their education. The school promotes positive relationships with the whole school community to create a happy, secure, caring, positive and fun environment where all learners have the right to learn. Every child is treated as an individual and as an important member of the school community. We value and build positive relationships with parents and carers as partners in their child's education.

This is a varied and interesting role working across the two schools, which are within walking distance of each other. We are seeking an enthusiastic, organised and committed individual to work closely with the Headteachers and Senior Leadership Teams. The post holder will be responsible for the professional leadership of the financial, operational and administrative aspects of each school. Previous experience of working in education and of managing a team would be advantageous. The post holder will have the responsibility for ensuring processes are followed and systems are maintained within the school. Time will be managed equally between the two schools, with some flexibility applied when necessary.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive forward thinking Trust, who in return for your commitment and hard work, will support you to achieve your own career goals and aspirations.
