What skills and experience we're looking for

The school business manager is the leading support staff professional, working as part of the senior leadership team, to assist the headteacher and governors to ensure that the school meets its financial and educational commitments.

You will be responsible for finance, human resources, premises, catering, IT, health and safety, and you will also line manage a fantastic admin team. This role offers an exciting mix of strategic leadership and operational management. You will need to be flexible, resilient, adaptable, fun and a great leader!

The successful applicant will be able to lead change, be inspiring and have the ability to motivate people as well as possessing great communication skills and have qualifications and/or experience comparable with a senior post of this nature.

The annual salary is PS11 on the Surrey Pay Scale. As this is not a 52-week role the actual annual salary paid is within the range of £47,655 to £52,490, which is pro-rata of the full time equivalent (FTE) of £50,047 to £55,125.
