What skills and experience we're looking for
Applicants must meet and evidence of the following criteria (please also see the Job Description and Person Specification):
- The drive and experience to ensure that the business elements of the school are exemplary
- Relevant qualifications for this role, although the SBM qualification is not an essential criterion at this point
- Have previously held responsibility for managing other staff
- Dynamic leadership skills with previous experience of working independently and as part of a team (including some work with Governors)
- Proven experience as an outstanding administrator or SBM
- Experience of contract management, financial
procedures, appraisal, marketing and Health and Safety Compliance

School Business Manager for 30 hours/week (term time only) required for a permanent contract from 20th February 2023 or as soon as possible thereafter.
Salary: £37,725 - £41, 793 (Full Time Equivalent)
Actual Salary: £27,162 - £30,091
Location: East Finchley, Barnet N2
Contract: Part Time (5 days x 6 hours, term time only)
Contract Term: Permanent
Candidates do not need an SBM qualification, but must be committed to obtaining this with the school’s support.
