What skills and experience we're looking for
We have an exciting opportunity at Richardson Dees for a School Business Manager from September 2024, due to the relocation of our current SBM. Applications are invited from exceptional, motivated, inspirational and empathetic individuals with a proven track record to join our School.
Located in Wallsend, we are a single form entry school and nursery, with a high level of pupil premium and SEN. We manage a balanced budget with a positive outturn year on year. The broad responsibilities of this post include:-
- Control, development and management of the budget
- Processing of all financial information
- Managing all HR – return to work; contracts; payroll; supply etc
- Managing all Policies – reviewing; approvals; publication
- Management of all Health & Safety supporting the Site Manager
- Management of Breakfast Club including financial reporting
- Procurement and Contract Management
- Submission of SFVS; workforce census etc.
- Line management of Breakfast and Dinner Supervisors; Office staff and Site Manager
- Preparation and presentation of information as required to Governors
This post reports direct to the Headteacher
Candidates should have excellent literacy, numeracy and IT skills. They will need to be highly organised and ideally have experience of Arbor for both school and finance management.
