What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint a school business manager who will provide high-quality administrative and financial support as well as: • manage a small team of staff • be forward thinking • prepare budgets and reports for governors, as well as tracking performance to budget • be responsible for planning, development and implementation of finance, HR, premises, administration and health and safety • plan for the future development of the schools, ensuring best value • recognise the importance of effective communication to the school community • be competent in website management and oversight • arrange cover of teaching staff during planned/unplanned absences • manage any lettings of the school premises to outside agencies • help promote the school to parents, partners and the local community • liaise with local businesses and the parish of St. Joseph’s for fundraising and joint projects • ensure compliance with the financial management standards and GDPR, in schools • bid for sponsorship funding by building contacts and raising the school profile.
