School Business Manager job summary
School Business Manager - Part-time 30 hours per week, 41 weeks per year
St Peter's is a very successful and oversubscribed school, located in Bournemouth. We are a growing school who now require a new School Business Manager following the retirement of the current post holder. The post is part-time, 30 hours per week, 41 weeks per year. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team the post attracts a Leadership Scale 5 salary, together with membership of the Local Government Pension Scheme.
The School Business Manager is responsible for managing the strategy and operation of the business functions of the school, including financial management, health and safety, human resources, compliance and administration. As a member of the School Leadership Team, they will advise on and implement the day to day support that enables the school to operate effectively and efficiently, and that allows other members of the leadership team to focus on teaching and learning. Accounts experience is essential, together with the desire for further training and qualifications in School Business Management, where appropriate.
