General overview of responsibilities
Oversee and manage the school's financial operations, budgeting and financial reporting
Develop and implement financial policies and procedures in line with school objectives
As a member of the SLT collaborate with school leadership to formulate strategic plans and contribute to the overall development of the institution
Understand and lead on ICT and management communication systems
Lead the administration team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, including human resources, procurement and facilities management
Manage relationships with external stakeholders, such as vendors, contractors and regulatory bodies
Manage health and safety arrangements, in liaison with the headteacher and site manager, ensuring these practices meet statutory obligations and they are reflected in the school’s Health and Safety Policy
Provide strategic advice to senior leadership on resource allocation and financial decision-making
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations and best practices in school administration
Understand the school's safeguarding procedures and lead on the management and upkeep of the SCR in conjunction with the DSL
Lead on facilities and property management
