School Business Operations Manager job summary
Job Introduction
We are seeking an individual who has proven experience and the ability to plan, develop and deliver business services and sound financial planning and budgetary control. In this role you will need to be able to provide leadership along with professional support and advice. This role reports directly to the Principal.
The School Business Operations Manager is the academy’s leading support staff professional and works as part of the Senior Team to assist the Principal to ensure that we meet our educational aims. You will be responsible for providing professional leadership and management of school support staff in partnership with teaching staff, to enhance their effectiveness in order to achieve improved standards of learning and achievement in the school.
The School Business Operations Manager promotes the highest standards of business ethos within the administrative function of the school and strategically ensures the most effective use of resources in support of the school’s learning objectives. Therefore, you will be responsible for the Financial Resource Management, Administration Management, Management Information, IT Strategy, Human Resource Management, Facility & Property Management, Catering and Health & Safety Management of the academy.
The successful candidate will have integrity and initiative, and will be highly capable, proactive, organised and enthusiastic. They must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to show their own initiative. We hope to find an individual who can embrace our vision and ethos and be able to demonstrate a real passion for ensuring the best n everyone.
