School Cleaner job summary

Job Role: Three hours a day 11.30am-2.30pm, term time only.

We are looking for an energetic person, who takes pride in their work to join Dedworth Middle school as a cleaner. Responsibilities include general housekeeping around the school, cleaning of washroom facilities, refilling of toilet products (toilet rolls, hand soap, emptying bins).

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, enthusiastic, confident and capable, with a positive approach to their work.

Main responsibilities:

Ensuring all washroom facilities are maintained to a high standard.

Mopping and wiping down.

Maintaining good hygiene and cleanliness of our school.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a school cleaner is a plus, but not essential.

A strong commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment

A positive attitude

Able to work without supervision

Reliable and punctual

At Dedworth Middle School we are part of the Windsor Learning Partnership MAT and are a fully inclusive middle school, currently with over 550 pupils on roll aged from 9-13.
