School Cleaner job summary
Our schools is located in the beautiful village of Sherington, less than 10 minutes drive from Newport Pagnell.
Working as part of the school team, the successful candidate will undertake responsibility for the cleaning of the school premises to ensure they are maintained to a clean and hygienic condition every day.
We are keen to talk to anyone who may be looking to move into education and explore the school environment.
Working hours are 7.5hrs per week, Monday to Friday outside of school hours plus some holiday time cleaning - to be agreed in advance. Term time only plus one inset day.
Flexible working patterns can be discussed to accommodate out of hours cleaning including evenings, early mornings or night working.
Job share considered and we are happy to talk about individual requests to make the role work for you.
Key requirements:
- Previous experience of a similar role or can demonstrate a keenness to learn
- A good understanding of cleaning chemicals and equipment would be desirable
- Reliability and availability outside of school hours
- Willingness to support across the federation and work as one team
- Happy to adhere to lone worker procedures
- Willingness to undertake necessary training, including safeguarding
