School Facilities Manager (Caretaker)- Keep Our School Safe, Secure & Running Smoothly!
We are looking for a dedicated School Facilities Manager to play a key role in ensuring our school remains a safe, secure, and well-maintained environment for students, staff, and visitors. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and organised individual who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, security, and health and safety across our premises.
Key Responsibilities:
* Site Security & Access: Open and close the school premises daily, including occasional evenings and weekends. Act as the principal key holder and respond to emergency call-outs as needed.
* Health & Safety Compliance: Conduct in-house statutory testing, routine inspections, and maintenance tasks to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
* Repairs & Maintenance: Carry out minor repairs and report major maintenance issues to relevant contractors. Ensure all entry points, including gates, doors, and windows, are secure and functional.
* Cleanliness & Hygiene: Support the upkeep of a clean and well-presented learning environment, maintaining high hygiene standards.
* Equipment & Utilities Management: Monitor and maintain school facilities, ensuring all utilities and equipment function effectively.
* Team & Community Support: Work closely with school staff to support operational needs and contribute positively to the wider school community.
What We're Looking For:
* Basic knowledge of building maintenance, repairs, and health & safety procedures.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* Good communication skills with a proactive and adaptable approach.
* Physical fitness to carry out manual tasks.
* Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.

Noel Park Primary School is based in North London, opened on 1st September 2012 and is part of Lift Schools. Our Academy has 600 children aged between 3 and 11.
