Contract: Permanent, 37 hours per week
Outwood Academy Bydales is an 11-16 school located in the beautiful coastal village of Marske-by-the-Sea, close to the North York Moors National Park. We are extremely proud of our tradition of serving the families of the community of Marske and surrounding areas.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and flexible ICT Technician apprentice to join our existing ICT support team. As part of the apprenticeship, you will undertake a Information Communications Technician NVQ Level III with LMP Education.
The successful candidate will develop a good knowledge of general hardware and software as well as being highly organized and having excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. The ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team is essential and experience of working in an ICT support role or similar would be an advantage.
You must possess the skills and determination to make a significant difference to the lives of our students and share our single goal of ‘Students First’. We believe that all teaching and support staff posts within our Family of Schools are key posts in terms of supporting student success and achievement across a broad range of subjects and experiences. As such we are keen to recruit dedicated and ambitious professionals who will add value to our Academy in both academic terms and through involvement in the fabric of learning and success beyond the classroom.

Outwood Academy Bydales is an 11-16 school located in the beautiful coastal village of Marske-by-the-Sea, close to the North York Moors National Park. The academy has been part of Outwood Grange Academies Trust, nationally recognised as a high performing academy chain, since September 2014.
Our predecessor Bydales School was in special measures and joined Outwood Grange Academies Trust in February 2015. Since then the school has rapidly transformed. In 2018, alongside our Outstanding Ofsted judgement, students achieved incredible results with 89% securing 4+ in both English and Maths. Our Progress 8 and Attainment 8 scores were both the highest in the North East of England, at +0.75 and 59.1 respectively. Likewise, 77% of students securing at least a 5 in both English and Maths, was also the highest in the North East in 2018
