School Improvement Lead - Attain Academy Partnership (L8 - 21)
Are you an outstanding practitioner with a vision for inspirational education provision?
Do you believe that every child has unlimited potential?
Attain Academy Partnership is a family of primary schools that works as a team to provide an outstanding education for all children in all schools, relevant to the world in which they live.
We aim to develop:
Ambitious, capable learners who are resilient and independent;
Enterprising, creative contributors who have a real love of learning;
Ethical, informed citizens who value differences and inclusivity;
Healthy, confident individuals who contribute to a mutually supportive environment;
We are looking for an outstanding leader with the ability to inspire and motivate others in how improved practice on assessment, curriculum and continuing professional development (CPD) can deliver school improvement, aspirational pupil outcomes, and higher staff engagement and well-being.
You will have an excellent understanding of the evidence base and the latest thinking on assessment, curriculum design, and CPD. This knowledge will translate into inspirational practice in schools in partnership with our ambitious team of school leaders.
Your passion for teaching and learning will inspire you to lead by example as a coach and mentor as well as a willingness and talent to model and team-teach, lead staff meetings and CPD as appropriate.
You will have a passion for ensuring your work has a significant impact on the quality of education and pupil outcomes. A track record of securing improved outcomes for all pupils including those eligible for pupil premium and pupils with special educational needs and disability through your school improvement work is a given.
You will look forward to assuming some responsibility and accountability for shaping, communicating, and delivering the Trust's strategic priorities on shared assessment and curriculum practice, developing professional learning communities and CPD that impacts performance and staff progression.
You will have experience of delivering these using well-developed leadership and team-working skills.
This is a stimulating and rewarding opportunity to use your expertise to drive the strategic direction of the Trust, working closely with senior leaders and teachers, and to develop thinking, improve practice and demonstrate the impact that should be shared inside and outside of the Trust.
A full list of responsibilities is detailed in the job description and person specification.
