School - Lead First Aider Term Time Only / 37 Hours per week job summary

The successful candidate must be able to implement and maintain arrangements for first-aid provision to comply with statutory, regulatory, and school policy and protocol requirements including the co-ordination of first-aiders, maintenance of records, accident reporting arrangements and making sound judgements on the escalation of medical matters as required.

Ability to form and maintain appropriate relationships and personal boundaries with children, families, and colleagues

Ability to analyse complex information relating to a child’s health, care needs or need for safeguarding

A clear understanding of confidentiality issues

Excellent communication skills

Ability to communicate with and relate to adults and young children.
