School Librarian job summary
Ormiston Forge Academy is a thriving secondary academy and sixth form located in the heart of Cradley Heath, West Midlands, with a proud history of academic excellence and community involvement. Our Academy is not just a workplace—we are a family.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed School Librarian to manage and develop the school library in order to support teaching and learning across the curriculum, encourage independent learning and foster a love of reading among students.
Full details of duties and responsibilities are outlined in the Job Description attached.
Requirements
- A good level of English and maths.
- A good level of IT skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Knowledge of procedures for use of library resources, cataloguing and assisting users.
