School Meals Supervisory Assistant job summary

We are seeking to appoint a School Meals Supervisory Assistant for 2 hours per day, to ensure the safety, well-being and care of children in the dining room, playground or in the classroom on wet days. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and supporting children and leading play activities during the lunchtime period.

Applicants should enjoy working with primary aged children and must be able to work well as part of a team. Good verbal communication skills are essential for this role in order to liaise with children and other staff members. You will also aim to promote active play and positive playground behaviour. No previous experience is necessary.
