ABOUT US Greenacre School is one of the UK’s largest special schools, educating over 300 children and young people aged 3 to 19 with severe and complex learning disabilities. THE ROLE
To provide supervision for students during the mid-day break to ensure maintenance of good order, good behaviour, discipline and the safety and welfare of students. Some duties will include:
Building relationships with pupils and staff
Supporting children during mealtimes
Understanding the needs of the pupils with SEN (Special Education Needs)
Working in line with schools policies and procedures
THE CANDIDATE
Basic evidence of competence in English
Interest in working in a special education school
An understanding/ interest of working with children/ young people with SEN / SEMH needs
IDEALLY Experience of supervising children/ younger people
