HEALTH AND WELFARE PRACTITIONER
Responsible to: Senior
Management Team in charge of Safeguarding/Pastoral
Salary Scale SO1
Point 23 - £30,151 per annum
Contract for One Year initially - Term Time
wish to appoint a highly motivated, committed School Mental Health and Welfare
Practitioner to join our Safeguarding/Pastoral team. This is an exciting
opportunity and the successful applicant will play a key role in supporting the
whole school in this important area of the school.
successful applicant will work to promote positive mental health amongst our
students. You will develop excellent
relationships with our staff, working closely with Medical Welfare,
Safeguarding Team, Pastoral and Pupil Support and Learning Support. You will
develop excellent relationships with relevant external agencies and communicate
with them when appropriate.

must be an effective communicator, ensure confidentiality, and have strong
interpersonal skills and a willingness to work as part of a team.
