Reports to:  Head of Music

Start date: September 2024

Contract: 2 hours per week for rehearsals on separate days, 3:35 to 4:35 each time

Salary:  £38.50 per hour

Closing Date: 16th August 2024, 4pm

 

 The Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to serve as the Director for our esteemed school production of "Oliver!" This role entails leading drama rehearsals and guiding our talented students towards a spectacular performance. If you possess a passion for theatre and a commitment to nurturing artistic talent, we invite you to apply for this pivotal role in our production of "Oliver!"

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Have exceptional interpersonal skills, adept at cultivating strategic partnerships.
  • Be proficient in writing, with meticulous grammar and proofreading capabilities.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in time management and multitasking.
  • Have previous experience directing community or theatre productions, or substantial participation therein.
  • Have an academic background in Performing Arts or Drama (preferred)
