School Receptionist/Administrator job summary
To be successful in this role you will need great administration skills, a proven track record in working in a busy office, as well as a positive and flexible attitude and excellent communication skills. You will also need to be self-motivated.
Ideally, you will already have knowledge or skills in the following areas:
Brilliant communication skills
Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality
The ability to prioritise workload and multitask
An understanding of Health and Safety within a school
A knowledge of Management Information Systems and electronic payment systems (Arbor)
An understanding of how to promote wellbeing and keep children safe via Child Protection procedures.
A grade C/5 in Maths and English GCSE or above
A real desire to help and support children’s wellbeing
Working hours are 12.5hrs a week, 8.30am – 11am Monday to Friday, term time plus inset days. Pay Scale starts at C3, (12.45/hr).
The closing date for applications is Thursday 1st May, and we hope to hold interviews on w/c Tuesday 6th May. However, applications will be considered immediately upon receipt, and interviews may be arranged before this closing date.
