What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for a part-time School Receptionist, working 17.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 1.00pm to 4.30pm. Term time. Salary: £9,846 (FTE £23,546) per annum.

You’ll play a pivotal role in contributing to the smooth running of the school’s reception by delivering a professional, friendly and welcoming atmosphere to our parents/carers, visitors, students and staff.

About you

  • Ability to generate good relationships with pupils, parents, and staff
  • Able to respond to the changing needs of the school as no two days are the same
  • The ability to communicate well at all levels
  • Good administrative and organisational skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Maintain confidentiality of anything discussed, overheard, or dealt with whilst carrying out the role
  • Good computer and keyboard skills
  • Resilient, caring, and someone who can stay calm under pressure
