School Receptionist/Lunchtime Supervisor job summary
We are seeking to appoint an efficient School Receptionist to assist the School Business Manager and School Administrator with the administration needs of the school. You will need to be able to work as part of a team and be flexible in your approach adjusting to the needs of the school. Good IT skills are essential and experience of Microsoft 2010 and Arbor MIS computer systems would be an advantage, although training can be provided. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact in the front office so excellent interpersonal skills and a pleasant phone manner are essential. The successful candidate must be able to work on their own initiative, focus on tasks and keep to deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
You will work in a friendly, bright and comfortable environment amongst a friendly team . Working in a school with children always requires flexibility and a sense of humour!
The Lunchtime Supervisor part of the role entails assisting with the set-up of the lunch hall, serving food to the children in the lunch hall both hot and cold, and clearing down afterwards. Food safety training is desirable although training will be provided.
The working hours are: 8.30am -1.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am -4.30pm Friday.
