SCHOOL RECEPTIONIST
Required September 2022
Full Time, 37 hours per week, 40 weeks p.a (term time only)
Salary Grade Range C-D (depending on experience)
Actual Salary p.a. range £16,610.00-£21,103.00 p.a
We are ideally seeking someone with previous experience of this role.
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, who is well organised with a high level of literacy and accuracy. Someone who works well under pressure, and on their own initiative. Experience of Word and Sims would be beneficial.
The main responsibility of this role is to be the public face of The Wavell, managing telephone enquiries, dealing with parents, students, visitors and contractors to the school. Logging all visitors in and out of school in line with school security and safeguarding procedures as well as inputting student attendance into Sims. A high level of confidentiality is required together with an approachable calm manner.
This post is also part of the First Aid team, and may be called upon to cover for other First Aiders when necessary. There would be other general administrative duties as required.
