We are seeking 2 enthusiastic, committed candidates who have maintenance skills/experience to join our school site teams at either Saltash Community School or Liskeard School and Community College. The main purpose of this essential role is the maintenance, refurbishment and caretaking of our schools. In recruiting the right candidates, we can be flexible with the working arrangements for this role if you have specific work-life balance needs. Applications are welcomed from candidates who are seeking a full-time or part-time position.
The role requires someone with a flexible approach and the ability to carry out basic maintenance and caretaking duties for our schools, although further training and support is provided. You will be responsible for ensuring that daily tasks relating to the operation, maintenance and cleanliness of the buildings, grounds and equipment are managed effectively. The ability to work within a team and to work on your own initiative as required are important. There are opportunities to travel to other school sites within our Trust to support work as needed.
