School Site Manager job summary
We are looking for a Site Manager who would be responsible for all aspects of the site, buildings, facilities and grounds management, ensuring the highest levels of security, health and safety, statutory compliance, repairs, maintenance and cleanliness.
This includes:
Effective management of the caretaking and in-house school cleaning staff
Supervision of external contractors, and external site users
Site development and maintenance planning in conjunction with the Business Manager
Proactively carrying out routine maintenance and minor repairs, cleaning, refurbishment, and porterage
Effective and efficient budgetary management
Identifying cost reduction initiatives
It is expected that the post holder will have the capacity to structure their own work according to the duties described. This may be broken down into daily, weekly, monthly and annual tasks for example.

Our Aims:
We aim to equip all students with the adaptability and flexibility to meet the demands of a rapidly changing world and to promote a sense of responsibility towards others, the school and the wider community. The support and guidance of students is based on a Year system and aims to develop co-operation, involvement and respect in all students.
A broad and balanced curriculum is provided for Years 7 to 9. Staff Well-being at The Grange

There is an active staffroom, where people go at break and lunch and regular staff lunches. In addition, there are staff activities should you wish to join, such as book club, sport, yoga, walking trips, visits to the theatre and art and craft activities and workshops.
