Contract: Part time, Permanent
Hours: 8.3 hours per week/ 38 weeks per year (term time only)
Working pattern: Monday – Friday 8:25am – 9:15am, 2:45pm – 3:35pm.
Salary: Pathway 1, Point 2-3, £4,168.05 - £4,237.19 (FTE £22,366 - £22,737)

If so, Gladstone Primary Academy are looking to recruit a School Streets Assistant.
Your role:
Gladstone Primary Academy is looking for a School Streets Assistant to join our enthusiastic team. Your primary goal will be to ensure a safe and pleasant environment during school drop-off and pick-up times by managing the school safety zone. This role involves working closely with the senior leadership team and site officer to restrict vehicle access, allowing children to safely walk, cycle, and scoot to school.
You have a basic understanding of traffic management and road safety principles, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills. You can remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations tactfully. Your good timekeeping skills and willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions make you an ideal candidate for this role.
We offer a free space at Breakfast Club for the successful candidate’s children attending Gladstone Primary Academy.
