Why Mayfield?

Mayfield is a brilliant, thriving school where children achieve fantastic results in their GCSEs, A-Levels and BTEC qualifications in partnership with their hardworking and highly skilled teachers. However, we believe education is about more than academic results; we strive to ensure that every child receives the support, challenge and guidance they need to be the best that they can be. This means we commit to the education of the whole child: maximising student academic outcomes and the progress they make as well as equipping students with the skills, knowledge and competencies, both in and out of the classroom, which will help them succeed in their future.

It is this holistic, caring approach that makes our school such a special community where students and staff really feel valued and a part of something that matters. It is why so many of our staff choose to stay and dedicate their careers to Mayfield’s students and it is why you, we are sure, will love being a part of our community.

With considerable recent investment in new state-of-art facilities, including several new specialist teaching blocks and a community leisure centre which is available for staff at a subsidised rate, you will be joining Mayfield at a very exciting time!

Please take a look at our website (www.mayfieldschool.net) and our ‘Month at Mayfield’ videos (www.mayfieldschool.net/1283/videos) to see our values and fantastic facilities in action.
