Ormiston Shelfield Community Academy is an exciting and dynamic place to work. We are an oversubscribed secondary academy with over 1400 students on roll at Key Stages 3-5.  Our core drivers of OutcomesValues and Choices are at the heart of our daily actions and interactions and we pride ourselves on building strong relationships based on mutual respect, at all levels. 

We are looking to recruit a Science KS5 Leader to:

  •  Be accountable for the learning and achievement of all students following the Schemes of Learning at Key Stage 5 within the academy.
  • Provide high quality leadership and management for the subject at Key Stage 5 within the Academy.
  • Develop effective partnership with all members of the Children’s Services team to secure high levels of student progress at Key Stage 5

As part of your wider duties and responsibilities, you are required to promote and actively support the Academy’s responsibilities towards safeguarding.
