What skills and experience we're looking for

Your Opportunity

You will be an experienced or Early Career Teacher of Science who can plan, teach, and assess their specialism to at least KS4. The ability to teach up to KS5 would be an advantage, but we also welcome applications from those able to offer only up to KS4. You will be responsible for ensuring the effective teaching and learning of students, instilling in them a love of science. A specialism in Chemistry or Physics would be desirable but not essential. The school is looking for an exceptional teacher who can create a supportive, encouraging and safe learning environment for all pupils of diverse backgrounds and abilities.

What you will need to succeed:

You will need to exhibit a passion for Science and radiate creativity and enthusiasm in the classroom. You will have high expectations of yourself and the pupils, and demonstrate a flexible approach to working with other members of staff. You will be committed to improving the learning outcomes for all pupils in the school.
