A highly motivated and enthusiastic Science Teacher is required to teach across the full ability range including GCSE and A Level. Physics specialism is preferred, but we also welcome applications from Biology or Chemistry specialists.

Hanley Castle High School is a mixed 11-18 comprehensive school of approximately 1,050 students, including a flourishing sixth form. The school gained academy status in 2011 and in April 2017 our articles of association as an academy were amended to form the Hanley and Upton Educational Trust (MAT). This formalised close links with Hanley Swan and Kempsey primary schools. In January 2019 Welland primary school also became a member of the MAT.
