What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and engaging science teacher to join our fantastic school. The successful candidate will work within an ambitious, vibrant and high performing department to instil a love of science in all students. The department runs multiple A-Level classes in each of Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Environmental Science, and an ability to teach one of those to A-Level would be expected of the successful candidate. The department routinely achieves a significantly positive value-added score each year at GCSE, plus excellent A-Level outcomes and has a strong track-record of large numbers of students going on to study science-related courses at university.
What the school offers its staff
The school is relocating to a new site less than a mile from our current location. This exciting project will provide us with a fantastic new learning environment, supported by cutting edge technology, and huge opportunities for the future. Our vast list of extra-curricular activities and trips means students engage positively with school and represent our values with pride. Staff turnover is low, as they feel well-supported and enjoy working here, with many choosing the school for their own children.
