Watling Academy is seeking an innovative and devoted Science Teacher to join our team and inspire students to develop a deep understanding of scientific principles, cultivate critical thinking skills and foster a lifelong curiosity about the world around them.

Become part of our Science Faculty and immerse yourself and your students in hands-on, engaging lessons spanning across the Science curriculum. Your contagious passion for Science will encourage independent research and critical thinking, empowering students to take charge of their learning journey. Join us as a Science Teacher and you'll guide students through engaging explorations of captivating topics such as Forces, Chemical Reactions and Genes. You'll also lead investigations into local sustainability issues, like delving into Milton Keynes' green initiatives, ensuring that learning is not only relevant but deeply impactful for our students.

Watling Academy was judged as ‘Outstanding’ by OFSTED in May 2023 and is a purpose-built 11-18 secondary school in its fourth year of operation, located within the Whitehouse development on the western expansion area of Milton Keynes. The Academy will have 1800 students when at full capacity. Watling Academy is part of the Denbigh Alliance MAT.
