SCIENCE TEACHER job summary
Berwick Academy is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and well qualified specialist able to teach across key stage 3-5. Applications are welcome from experienced teachers and NQTs.
Berwick Academy is located midway between Edinburgh and Newcastle on the east coast mainline and serves the beautiful coastal community of Berwick upon Tweed in north Northumberland. We are a co-educational academy for pupils aged 13-18, with 500 pupils approx.

Ideally you will be:
• Able to teach General Science to KS3 & KS4
• Able to teach Chemistry, Biology or Physics to Advanced level
• Willingness to develop further science subject knowledge of KS5 curriculum
• Committed to the highest standards of teaching and learning
• Able to demonstrate thorough lesson planning, enthusiastic delivery and detailed assessment
• Experienced in teaching BTEC
