Science Teacher job summary
We have an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven individual to join the Science department.
The Faculty
The Science faculty consists of 6 teachers and one technician. The Director of Learning for Science works closely with and reports into the Vice Principal for Curriculum. At KS4 we offer a combined sciences award route. Selected students have the opportunity to become Science Leaders, students are chosen from KS3 and KS4. These students form the basis of the science council which gives the department a student voice.
The de Ferrers Trust is a Multi Academy Trust currently based in Staffordshire and Derbyshire. We currently consist of 3 Secondary Academies and 4 Primary Academies.
CPD
The Trust believes that professional development is key to being successful and offers excellent opportunities for colleagues to grow and achieve. We provide tailored CPD and professional development, mentoring, strong support and a range of developmental opportunities across the Trust.
