Do you have a passion for Science and the ability to inspire our students?
We require a Science teacher, two days per week to join our enthusiastic team for a period of maternity leave where you will be influential in contributing to raising standards in the classroom from KS3 to KS4. The Science team have raised attainment year on year and are committed to changing the life chances of our students.
We are looking for someone who:
Has a drive for excellence and a desire to be outstanding!
Is highly organised, motivated and driven to succeed
Is a specialist in Science and committed to the progress of ALL students
Is a team member who will collaborate with colleagues to ensure the progress of students
Has enthusiasm, presence and authority who can deliver consistently
Since opening in 2011 The Hastings Academy has been on an exciting journey. Achieving a 'Good' Ofsted inspection in January 2018, joining now provides a fantastic opportunity to work alongside an ‘outstanding’ leadership team where parents have a high regard for the staff.

The Hastings Academy is a secondary school for 11 to 16- year olds in Hastings, East Sussex. Our motto, Pride through success, runs through everything that we do. We are a modern and innovative school, with specialist classrooms and technology to support learning. Our team of talented professional staff are committed to maximising the potential of every child.
