What skills and experience we're looking for
We seek to appoint a candidate with experience of teaching Science at Key Stages 3 and 4 and has a sound knowledge and genuine passion for their subject.
The role would suit a teacher looking to move up into middle leadership and offers the opportunity to join a great place to work where you will be supported by a hugely talented staff team.
We are looking for someone with:
- Qualification to the equivalent of degree level in a relevant subject (2:2 or above)
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Knowledge and understanding of Science at KS3 and KS4, and of strategies that improve understanding.
- Secure knowledge and understanding on sequencing and the National Curriculum in Science.
- A commitment to supporting the vision, aims and values of Selly Park Girls’ School.
- Determination to encourage the highest quality of learning experience for all students.
