What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated individual with effective practical, administrative, organisational, and communication skills, along with a sense of humour, to join the Science Technician team supporting the Science department in this high achieving school.
The successful candidate will be preparing, delivering and tidying away practical equipment, and undertaking routine maintenance of laboratories, equipment and consumables. The role entails a degree of manual handling and physical activity, so fitness is desirable, as is the ability to work as part of a team.
As part of your role you will be supporting 15 Science teachers across 12 labs and 2 demonstration labs. You will be working closely with the senior technician and one other technician. While previous experience would be an advantage, full training will be provided.
