What skills and experience we're looking for
The school is seeking to appoint a Science Technician to join the science department as soon as possible. This is an important and busy role supporting the science department. Your role will involve providing technical support, ensuring that laboratory equipment is functioning properly and is ready to use, and that the right materials are available for particular lessons. The successful candidate will be a highly valued member of our outstanding team of teaching and non-teaching staff.
Applications are welcome from recent science graduates with lab based experience (this could include experience during your university course), who are looking to start their careers within education, to learn about every aspect of school life, as well as from more experienced colleagues.
Highbury Fields School has a proven track record of developing skilled and recently qualified graduates, who are willing to undertake the necessary training for this role.
