Are you passionate about inspiring the next generation of Scientists? Brownhills Ormiston Academy has a fantastic opportunity for a talented Science Technician to join our dedicated team.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed and forward thinking Science Technician with a real passion to provide a high-quality support service to our exceptional students and the Science department.
We are seeking an efficient, motivated and enthusiastic individual with the ability to multi-task. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting teachers and students in practical science activities and experiments. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the educational experience of our students and to be part of a collaborative and supportive team.
The successful candidate will join an experienced, dynamic and enthusiastic Science team.
The successful candidate will:
- Have high expectations of self, students and academy
- GCSE Grade A - C (Grade 4 or above) in Maths, English and Science
- Possess strong curriculum knowledge
- Be highly efficient to work on your own as well as part of the wider science department.
- Provide practical assistance to support the science curriculum
- Strong organisational, personal time management and planning skills
- Ability to use all Microsoft Office packages to a proficient standard
- Ability to work well in a team and independently
