Science Technician job summary

Christ the King College is a joint Church of England and Catholic College on the Isle of Wight, providing a Christian education underpinned by Gospel values and reflecting both Church of England and Catholic traditions. It operates under the auspices of both the Church of England and Catholic Dioceses of Portsmouth. The school has over 1,100 students on roll, including a Sixth Form College of about 200 students. It is a well-established comprehensive school, which is well supported by parents and highly respected in the community. 

We are looking for a Science Technician to join our Science Department,  working closely with our Science Teachers and as part of our Technical Support Team. This role includes co-ordinating the use of practical resources and facilities; providing assistance and advice in the practical needs of the science curriculum and ensuring and promoting a healthy and safe working environment. Previous experience as a Science Technician and of working in a school would be an advantage.
