What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to appoint a flexible Science Technician, with relevant and previous experience to work within the Science Department. The role will include preparation and maintenance of resources with the successful candidate offering support to staff and students in this department.
The successful candidate will use their previous Laboratory Technician experience, to be able to confidently:
- Prepare, conduct and support scientific investigations and experiments.
- Maintain, calibrate, clean and test sterility of a range of equipment.
- Order and maintain stock and resources.
The applicant would need to have good organisational and time management skills and have the ability to be flexible to meet the needs of the department and the students on a daily basis.
