Science Technicians job summary
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated full-time Science Technician. The role will involve supporting the delivery of science practical work.
Our science department prides itself on its enthusiasm and commitment to the community we serve. As a core Faculty we work across the full ability range throughout Key Stages 3 and 4 as well as a significant and growing cohort in our Sixth Form. The Department’s commitment to developing teaching and learning make this an extremely exciting time to join the Science team at The Regis School.
The science department consists of 13 teachers and 2 lab technicians. We have 11 classrooms and 2 prep rooms (one for chemistry and one for biology and physics). We will offer all the necessary training.
The Regis School, we enjoy building positive relationships with young people in a culture of high expectations of staff and students, strong discipline and a determination to achieve ‘The Best in Everyone’ through limitless ambition.
We offer many benefits to our employees which includes reduced gym membership to our on-site gym, reduced fees for the on-site nursery, and a laptop. There is a car leasing scheme and all staff can access ‘Perkbox’ offering discounts in weekly shopping, high street stores and flights and holidays. Why? Because we want the best for all our staff as well as our students!
We appreciate that moving to a new school is a significant decision, so we wish to extend an open invite for you to meet us. Please contact Vicky Ovens on 01243 871068 or email vicky.ovens@theregisschool.co.uk to arrange a visit to the school or a phone conversation.
