What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Second in Department who can contribute to the leadership of the Biology department and deliver high quality learning opportunities for all our students in Biology/Science. The Science department is highly successful and has a track record of delivering excellent outcomes for our pupils. A level is extremely popular and the Science department is housed in 13 recently refurbished and superbly equipped laboratories. The successful candidate would lead a Key Stage as well as take on broader responsibilities across the department which will depend on the skills and experience of the successful candidate

Working with us: Sir Joseph Williamson’s Mathematical School is a selective boys grammar school with a large co educational sixth form. It was founded in 1701 in order to provide an education to young men who would go on to work at the famous Chatham Dockyard. More than 300 years later we still pride ourselves on providing a superb academic education alongside an unparalleled range of opportunities for personal growth and character development.
