This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and inspirational teacher to join our exceptional PE department. You will lead our provision for Girls Sport, as well as working closely with our Director of Sport as second in department, to lead our curriculum and extra-curricular provision. In this key leadership role you will ensure our students experience a broad and engaging curriculum that fosters a lifelong passion for physical activity and exercise. You will be committed to a wide ranging extra curricular provision that is inclusive but also allows students to participate at their competitive level. GSCE and A level PE are both popular with our students and you will be a strong classroom practitioner as well as a skilled sportsperson. As well as joining a talented and committed department, you will teach in outstanding facilities that support teaching and learning.

Parmiter's School relocated to the current 60 acre rural Hertfordshire site from London's East End in 1977.  The school enjoys a good reputation for traditional values and academic achievement whilst maintaining a true family feel among staff and students.  

Experienced teachers, newly qualified colleagues and support staff benefit from a supportive leadership team who focus on CPD and well-being as a priority.  

Parmiter's is part of the Watford Partnership for Teacher Training and takes the lead on Initial Teacher Training.  A number of existing teachers are accredited with being Specialist Leaders of Education. 

The school is consistently over subscribed for Year 7 and Sixth Form entry.  Children of staff are a priority for admission.
